We love longhorns until we used a matercharge debit gift card. I think it's legal but it felt like a criminal act charging a20%extra on the dinner cost without telling us. I would not have used it so I lost an 12 dollars plus making it an expensive meal. Service was excellent from Rachel!!!! We ordered the ribeye steak instead of the fillet like normal, it was a mistake because it look like sirloin steak with grizzle. DO NOT USE GIFT CARDS AT LONGHORNS.
We ordered the the Ribeye and Filet, baked potato, sweet potato with the works, house salad, corn on the cob. Every dish was excellent except the corn in the cob. My husband said he will not order that again. The prices have gone up at lunch time so we will not be able to go as often. Wish they did an early bird special 3-5pm M-F $2 off on select items like Texas Road house does. Service was great. We don't like country music but we just tune it out.
Always a great experience. We have never had bad service or a bad meal here. This time we had the half rack of ribs with loaded baked potato, strawberry salad, and the 6 ounce filet with loaded baked potato. The strawberry salad was a side upgrade for 3 dollars and it was huge. Lots of fruit and nuts. Fresh ingredients. I will remember it for the next visit. Half of it and half the filet came home. The loaded baked potatoes were large and had plenty of toppings. The ribs were ok. I like mine to be fall off the bone and these weren't there yet. Jacob was our server and he did a great job. Attentive but not hovering. Very polite. All in all another enjoyable meal.
No restaurant deserves five stars, but this should be 4.5. Good to great service. Have dined here multiple times. Expensive but not as much as Brazilian steakhouses. At least here you can take what you do not finish home. Bread is good, but Texas Roadhouse rolls are better. Generally a mature crowd. If you want music and a louder crowd Texas Roadhouse is a better choice. You get one side dish with your meals. At TR you get two. All in all a good place. Expect to pay about $40 - $50 per person not including alcohol and dessert. Eat a lot of bread and take your leftovers home for a second meal LoL.
When my friends and I arrived we were told it was a 45 min wait. But it didn't take long for us to be seated. The restaurant was very clean. Our sever Mia was very nice and quickly took our orders. We heard on TickTock that there was a way to add parmesan crust to your food so we decided to try it. And was very very good!!! My friends and I will definitely return!
What a great lunch special! French onion soup and a one pound hamburger with cheddar cheese. $10.99. What are you waiting for? Great service by Katie.
